People should be happy: the smaller works

When singer-songwriter Mark Lotterman asked me to participate in his multi disciplinary project ‘Holland’, I jumped at the chance. Mark is an amazing musician and his project is truly wonderful: instead of just releasing his new album Holland, he asked artists, musicians, schoolchildren, homeless people, scientists, and all sorts of other people to contribute an artwork, song, text, etc. to his project, inspired by one of his new songs.

I got inspired by Marks song ‘Happy’, and made several works about it. Presented as an installation in Vonkel gallery, The Hague, the work was entitled ‘People should be happy’.

Below the thumbnails you’ll find the larger images of these small works.

All depicted works are 29,7 x 21 cm, mixed media on paper, made in 2016.
